Our Lodge Room
Freemasons meet "as a lodge" and not "in a lodge." In this context, the word "lodge" refers to a local group of Freemasons, meeting as a body. However, the term is often misused to refer to the buildings or rooms that Masons meet in. "Meeting in a lodge room" would be accurate.
Washington Lodge No. 20 (as a body of Freemasons) meets in the Sacramento Masonic Temple.
Step into our lodge room with this virtual, 360-degree tour.
Learn about some of the common “furnishings” of the lodge, including the altar, the great and lesser lights, and officers’ stations.
And take a behind-the-scenes peek at the candidates’ preparation room, the twin columns, and more of the symbolic and esoteric mysteries contained within the lodge.
And here are some photos. Enjoy!
